Take me out! OOTN

Hey lovelies!

Are you all enjoying the Easter weekend? So relaxed and finally have some time to blog!

I don’t post that many outfit looks mainly because I don’t feel I have much style and really need some inspiration from other people. I’d love to go on Gok Wan’s show for him to style me and put me in clothes that suit my shape. For me the Summer months are a nightmare, I feel safe in the winter all under wraps but come the summer my insecurities come back out and the task of finding some new clothes just scares me!

Anyway, I was reading Ree’s blog a few weeks back and she posted an OOTD wearing this shirt, I knew I had to have it! It is everything I love in a shirt, I love the long sleeves, the fact the collar is black and looks gorgeous done up to the top. I had to get a size bigger than I am because it gaped slightly at the bust but other than that I just love it! I really don’t have the body shape to pull off the skinny jeans Ree was wearing too but I dug out my black jeggings from New Look and they look just as good.

Shirt Matalan £16
Black Jeggings New Look £12 (I think)
Schuh black court shoes £58 (bought last year)

What do you think? Are you in love with this shirt too? Check it out here, it’s a bargain at £16, I am in love with Matalan clothes at the minute they seem to have some gorgeous bits and pieces in.

Valentines Night – The Food.......The Outfit.......The Face

Good afternoon sweeties! Did you all have a good Valentines Day? Or are some of you totally against it?

Me and Darren ♥ agreed we wouldn’t buy anything for each other this year because we’re in the middle of buying our first house blah blah blah, well I stuck to this but was absolutely spoilt rotten last night.

The day started at 6.30am with a card exchange in bed, inside my card was tickets for that night to see Wicked! I’ve wanted to see this for so long, me and my sister have been looking out for cheap tickets for a while so was pleased I got to see it.

Before that though I was instructed to meet Darren ♥ at Chancery Lane at 5pm, I couldn’t help but google it to see what was around that area and sure enough it was my favourite Steak restaurant Gaucho! We’ve been to Gaucho’s about 3 times now, every time we’ve been it’s been better than the first. I had the 400g Rib Eye Steak with hand cut chips and a big ol’ tub of Tommy K! (ketchup). I had my Rib Eye cooked medium and Darren ♥ had his Medium Rare. He said mine was better though ha! We’re both not that into puddings so skipped that.

The Outfit

Shift dress from New Look, Cardigan from New Look, Black tights ?? Knee high boots from Dune. Silver snake bracelet I've had for about 16 years, it wraps around my arm and I love it! ♥ White gold earrings, white gold necklace and engagement ring all from the main man ♥

Our seats weren’t amazing, very high up in the nosebleed seating area but it was still fab. We had that annoying couple infront of us that don’t stop moving from left to right! The main characters (Green witch and the Good witch) both had such strong voices. I tweeted yesterday to say I was going and someone said to listen out for the Defying Gravity song, well it was so good and it certainly woke Darren ♥ up from his slumber! He’s not really into musicals but went because he knew I’d like it.

The Face

Kept it simple. Acutally the same as my TOWIB face except I used Patisserie lipstick by MAC instead of red.

Did any of you get spoilt rotten too? I made reservations for Saturday night for me and Darren ♥ so will let you know all about that, he knows he’s going somewhere just not where. I’ll tell him Saturday night so he saves enough room!

FOTN - OOTN - Work Christmas ‘do

Good afternoon dollz! Let me first just say sorry for lack of posts, but around this time of year I’m trying not to spend too much money on myself because I need pennies for Christmas presents. I’m also busy the weekends trawling my way through Oxford Street or Westfields trying to get all these presents. I can now confirm that it is done, just the wrapping to do! I’m looking forward to nearly 2 weeks off work, a bit of me time and some serious blogging!

I had my work Christmas ‘do last Thursday and remembered to take some photos in the oh so glamorous location of the work toilets! We were off to Kitchen Italia just off the Seven dials in London. No need to wear a dress or anything like that.

O.O.T.D – Winter or Summer/Day or Night

This is my first O.O.T.D, I was a little nervous about posting this mainly because I don’t know much about clothes, what style suits etc. I love watching programmes like Gok Wan and Trinny and Susannah for inspiration. This outfit however was my own creation lol!

I bought this gorgeous playsuit at the end of September from New Look, it was in their Limited Edition collection and was a bit pricey for New Look it was £35 and I just love it. It can be worn in the winter or summer. For the winter I am wearing it with my gorgeous Faith tan knee high boots that Darren ♥ bought for me for Christmas, a beige light cardigan, also from New Look and plain black tights. I also threw on my oversized ring from ASOS and a few gold bracelets. For summer I was thinking maybe wearing the playsuit with a tan shoulder bag that comes across the body some comfy flip flops or ballet pumps and maybe a nice big hat, oh and with some compulsory BIG shades. I had some beautiful Calvin Klein sunnies that I got from New York last December but they broke, I am so gutted! I loved them.

Nail Varnish is Barry M Pure Turquoise, ring is from ASOS

My lovely boots, I have these in black too

What do you ladies think of my playsuit? This isn’t something I would normally go for, I’m a bit boring with clothes really, I don’t have much style, but I love reading all your posts about outfits, it gives me some ideas.
