Barry M Dazzle Dust #98 and FOTN

Hey cupcakes! I bought a new dazzle dust in the Boots 3 for 2 offer. It’s a gorgeous 3 toned dust which of course was so difficult to photograph on the eye. It reminded me of Peacock colours, it’s so beautiful in the light, a shame it wouldn’t show up in my pics. I showed Darren ♥ my FOTN, he said they were ‘fishy colours’ Ahhhhhh. =D

This is the same pot; Barry M DD #98

This was a bit of a brave FOTN for me, I never wear my hair like this in photos or when I’m out because my ears stick out, but I wanted to show off my new earrings. I got them from Forever 21 for £3.90! They’re beautiful.

NOTD – Nails Inc, Orly and Barry M

Hello dahhhhlings! About a year ago I bought that Barry M crackle polish in black, gave it a go and hated it! I just couldn’t get it to look good, but after watching a few you tube videos and having another go I have improved.

The trick is to apply it quite thick and in one swipe if possible. I am right handed but my left hand has come out much better, I think because I don’t have the same amount of control as I do with the right.

You can just make out the sparkle in this photo, I wanted so much more!

I used Nails Inc Bennett Street as a base, I’d had this on for a couple of days so just refreshed the tips, then painted over 3 coats of Orly Rockerbilly (I think that’s what it’s called, it’s rubbed off), one coat of Barry M Crackle in black and one final coat of Seche Vite to seal it all.

It’s not perfect but definitely better than my first attempt all those months ago. The pink crackle is next on my hit list. I was a little disappointed in the Orly polish, I really wanted a sparkly holographic polish but it was a bit of a let down.

What other polish combinations should I try? I have my eye on Electric Avenue by Nails Inc next, it's a 3d holographic glitter polish type thing. I saw it over on Zoe's blog.

Barry M Lipstick No 151

Hey dolls! I bought this Barry M Lipstick a couple of weeks ago, I loved the colour of it in the shop and in my mind I was comparing it to Vegas Volt by MAC. I’m sure it was a dupe for it in the shop even though I don’t own Vegas Volt myself so can’t compare it. I think because I want VV so much I wanted it to be a dupe - ha!

Anyway this lippie is bright, really bright. As usual with me I don’t have a lip liner to match so my application is a little wobbly around the edges but I can live with that. Darren ♥ hates it, he says bright lipstick looks cheap and reminds him of Kat “I am your Muvver!” Slater (programme called EastEnders for my readers across the pond).

I’ve used it in 2 ways, 1, Vaseline first then lipstick applied thinly for a subtle look 2 full on coral/orange power. I like both looks.

The lipstick itself doesn't say if it's a sheen, satin or cream. I found it to be quite drying and did need to put vaseline on before both applications. I bought this in Superdrug for £3.99.

What do you think? Too bright? Would you dare to where it?

Barry M Dazzle Dusts

Good evening ladies, I hope you’ve all had a lovely weekend! Darren♥ and I done a spot of Christmas shopping, most of it at BHS where his Mum♥ works and gets 20% off! Whilst Darren♥ was in HMV I nipped into Boots to see if I could get my hands on this Barry M Dazzle Dust that I wanted and finally I found it! I was after No 89 – Oyster Grey it's a beautiful colour with purple undertones to it.

I applied no 89 quickly to my left eye ontop of a bit of eyeliner as a base but in no means is this an FOTD! The purple undertones really came out on my skin. I will be doing a proper FOTD/N on my trusty model when she’s next available. Thanks Lil Sis♥

 No 89 Oyster Grey

Barry M products are 3 for the price of 2 at the minute so I got Dazzle Dusts 34, 39 and 89 for £9. My confidence is growing using all different colours of shadows etc but still not brave enough to step outside the flat like it! I suppose that will come in time too.

Do any of you have the same dusts as me? Aren't they gorgeous!
