Christmas Tree Inspired FOTD - My sister

Hey girls, Faye ♥ modelled for me again for this look! These colours are the exact colours of my Christmas tree, I love the combination of red, gold and green! I added some cute diamantes to the outer and inner eye corners to act as the Christmas lights. I think it came out ok, I wanted to keep the lips quite neutral because the eyes were so dramatic. Faye ♥ wore this to the hospital to visit our Nan ♥ then to our Aunts ♥ for dinner after! One of the nurses at the hospital commented how lovely her eyes looked, my Nan ♥ said “I don’t want to criticise dear but you’ve done your eyelashes a bit thick”, bless her she didn’t realise Faye ♥ was wearing false lashes! Does that mean it was good application? lol

My beautiful bubba sister ♥

For my next FOTD my Mum ♥ will be modelling for me so it will be an FOTD on a more mature skin, lets see how that one turns out! I can’t wait! Spruce the ol' bird up a bit! Not that she needs it, she's a dab hand at the make up marlarky. I have fond memories of watching her apply the war paint in the bathroom of our old house, I couldn't wait til I was old enough to put it on myself!

Anyway I hope you enjoyed this post, sorry it's picture heavy, I just wanted you to see the beautiful colours that I used. I'm very much in the Christmas mood now and had my first Mince Pie of the year today, it was goooood!

Does Christmas inspire any of you to whack out the make up and do something sparkly and fun?

  3. This looks awesome! I've used the same colours on my tree too, I love the old-fashioned more traditional colours as opposed to things like pink and purple. I saw a black tree the other day. Honestly. Black. What were they thinking?!?!

I love how you've made the eyes really dramatic and pretty with the subtle face and lip makeup. Looking forward to the post on your mum ♥
